ENROLLMENT CAPACITY
The Facility Master Plan considers historical and projected enrollment data, as provided by the District, to determine the quantity of space needed to adequately house students across school sites. This information is compared to the existing quantity of available space to analyze both existing and future capacity needs.
Capacity may be evaluated in a number of ways and takes into consideration
operational practices such as loading standards (student to teacher ratios) and specific program typologies. Because these operational factors vary, for master planning purposes, the facility master plan uses standard loading rations as determined by the California Office of Public School Construction. These loading factors are used in evaluation eligibility and funding within the State School Facility Program (SFP).

The distribution of space typologies across each campus reflects the diversity in
program offerings within the District. In addition to available capacity and the quantity of
space, the facility master plan looks at how each of the spaces is utilized for various
programs and the number of assigned teaching stations. This informs several
components of the master plan including:
